This is a wonderful example of Kenyan coffee from this region. Kagumoini is located at a perfect microclimate for coffee growing on the southern slopes of Mt Kenya. The trees grow on rich volcanic soil which makes flavoursome coffee. Around 1000 smallholders deliver cherries to the Kagumoini washing station. The station provides schooling facilities, farming classes and medical aid to help improve the standard of living for local farmers.
