Mistrato Association is our second coffee from Red Associations. Red Associations works alongside coffee producing families in Colombia to achieve fixed stable returns for their harvests and to provide access to the speciality market. At present hundreds of families sell their washed coffee in wet form to drying station intermediaries. This is a new situation brought about by climate change. Rainy seasons continue for longer than before, rendering traditional farmer-owned drying facilities unsuitable. Red Associations are building the required infrastructure to re-enable drying by producers, thereby ensuring all profits return to the farmer.
