This decaf is produced at Pitalito in Huila, Colombia. Green coffee beans are soaked in a solution made from fresh spring water and Natural Ethyl Acetate which is derived from Sugarcane. This is a natural process which removes 97% of the caffeine from the coffee. Sugarcane decaffeination is an FDA approved chemical-free process. It creates an incredibly clean, sweet and complex coffee.
