ABOUT OUR SUBSCRIPTIONS

When will my coffee arrive?

When you subscribe with us, your coffee will be shipped on our next dispatch day. Your coffee will be dispatched at the same time every week, fortnight or month, depending on the frequency of your subscription. Our current dispatch days are Wednesday and Friday. All parcels are shipped Second Class with the Royal Mail. Delivery should only take a couple of days however due to Covid-19, the Royal Mail are still experiencing delays which means your coffee might take a little longer than usual to reach you.

Which coffee will I be receiving?

If you subscribe to our House Subscription, you will receive the house coffee we use in our cafes. This is always a popular coffee, which is well-developed and works well served black or with milk. This coffee will change every three to four months but will always meet a similar flavour profile. If you subscribe to our Seasonal Subscription, you will receive our favourite coffee of the month. This will usually be an interesting coffee with a delicate or complex flavour profile. The tasting notes, variety and process of this coffee will vary so there is always something new to try.

Which subscription is best for espresso or filter?

We would recommend our House Subscription if you enjoy espresso. This is always an easy-drinking and well-rounded coffee which works equally well black or with milk. If you enjoy filter coffee or prefer drinking your coffee black, we would recommend our Seasonal Subscription. These coffees are complex and fragrant so perfectly suited to lighter brewing methods.

How often does the coffee change?

Our coffee is seasonal and changes throughout the year. If you have chosen our Seasonal Subscription, the coffee you receive will change every month. If you have subscribed to our House Subscription, the coffee you receive will change every three to four months.

CAN I RECEIVE MY COFFEE GROUND?

Of course, this is no problem. If you would like to receive your coffee ground to suit a particular brew method just select this from the drop down menu as you purchase your subscription. Can I pause my subscription?

Yes, your subscription can be paused at any time. Send an email to info@fortitudecoffee.com letting us know when you would like your subscription to stop and restart and we can easily do this for you.

can I check my subscription details?

Yes, just sign in to the customer account section of our website to see which subscription you are signed up to. You can double check frequency, your address and payment details. Unfortunately it is not possible to edit details of existing subscriptions, any changes made here will only affect future webshop purchases.

How do I change my address?

If you need to change your shipping address, the best thing to do is cancel your subscription and resubscribe with your new address. Bear in mind that your new subscription will start straight away so its a good idea to time this to coincide with your current subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by signing into your customer account on our website. Alternatively, just send us an email at info@fortitudecoffee.com and we will cancel this for you.

What should I do with the packaging?

We use green Jiffy envelopes to mail our coffee subscriptions which are made from 100% recycled materials and can be recycled with other paper recycling. Even better, these envelopes can be used again and again as the fibres inside expand and become more protective with continued use, so please reuse if possible. Our coffee bags are made from 100% LDPE plastic and can be recycled with other plastic bags at larger supermarkets. Alternatively, if you live near to one of our cafes, drop off your empty bags and we can recycle these for you.
