IN THE CUP: Mango, lemon & apricot

Origin: Cajamarca, Peru | Producer: Small-hold producers | Variety: Catuai, Caturra |   Process: Washed | Altitude: 1500 - 1800 MASL | Harvest: 2024

Peruvian coffee has quietly emerged as some of the highest quality and most consistent in the world in recent years. While it may not rival its eastern and northern neighbors in terms of production volume, Peru's cool, mountainous terrain offers ideal conditions for cultivating exceptional coffee. With increased support from the government, there has been a noticeable resurgence of enthusiasm and progress within the coffee-growing community.

This particular lot is produced by a group of smallholder farmers in the Cajamarca region of northern Peru, near the edge of the Amazon rainforest. Named La Cima—which translates to “The Summit” or “Mountain Top”—the coffee is grown at elevations between 1,500 and 1,800 meters above sea level. It is fully washed and composed of the Catuai and Caturra varieties.

The result is a beautifully balanced cup with vibrant fruit notes of mango, lemon, and apricot. It’s a bright, approachable coffee—one you'll reach for every day.

*Our coffee is freshly roasted each week and orders are dispatched on Tuesday and Thursday for orders received by 12pm the day before.
