Shyira is a washing station that we look forward to buying from every year, this is in fact our 6th year. The coffees produced by this station are some of the best coffees in the world and the work being done here is nothing short of extraordinary. Built in 2017 by the Muraho Trading company due to the area of Shyira’s enormous potential for producing high quality coffees. It has access to high altitudes - unto 2500 masl - and has a river running directly through it to ensure access to natural water for post harvest processing. The station serves over 2000 local farmers so the potential for social impact is also great. In the time we have been buying coffee from Shyira new housing, a school and a medical facility have been built.

This beautiful washed coffee has a silky red grape acidity with a stone fruit like sweetness. It’s clean and has a smooth, syrupy body.

*Our coffee is freshly roasted each week and orders are dispatched on Wednesday and Friday for orders received by 12pm the day before.
